Learn from a professional creator! ADK Yukie Ogaki's Character Class - Let's create your own unique character!

Menu contents: This workshop is led by Yukie Ogaki, an art director at ADK who is active on the front lines of advertising and character design, and also works as an artist and university lecturer.
Learn the secrets to creating characters that embody your desires, such as "Who do you want to make smile?" and "What feelings do you want to convey?" directly from professionals.
With personalized advice that respects each individual's unique personality, you can create your own original character.
Finally, you'll try your hand at presenting the charm of your completed character to everyone. Why not experience the power of "communicating" your thoughts, which lies beyond the "joy of creating"?

Things to prepare: In this workshop, you will create an original character based on your favorite things. Please think of something you like or something you'd like to turn into a character beforehand.
For example... not only familiar animals like dogs and rabbits, but also fish like goldfish and sea bream, insects like rhinoceros beetles and their larvae, and living creatures like newts, tadpoles, and frogs are all OK. Also, anything is fine, from plants like roses and cacti, to food like curry and ice cream, to your favorite stationery and personal belongings. Unusual motifs and things that haven't been made into characters yet are also very welcome.
Please also think about "Why do you like it?" and "What do you like about it?"

*Please note that you cannot use characters from existing anime or games.

Your child's artwork will be temporarily received by ADK and digitized. We will then clean up any smudges and other imperfections to create a higher-quality digital file, which will be sent to you at a later date.
The completed data can be used by you to create your own merchandise or other items of your choice.
To arrange for delivery, we will ask for your contact information (name, address, and phone number) on the day of your visit.
