[① For those who wish to participate on August 8th (Saturday)]
- We will create a poster by cutting and pasting paper onto a large sheet of paper, or by writing by hand, to summarize the information on the summary sheet and the data you have brought.
・Present the poster you created and its contents to everyone in the venue.
• The presentation time is expected to be around 1 minute. Something like, "I focused on this topic and here's what I learned," is fine.
• Poster creation involves using scissors and a cutter, so please refrain from wearing sandals or similar footwear.
• The poster should be created in a size that is eligible for submission to the statistical graph competition.
[② For those who wish to participate on August 9th (Sunday)]
You will be asked to create presentation materials using a laptop computer or other device that you have brought yourself (primarily one capable of running Microsoft Office products).
*Please bring at least one laptop computer or similar device for creating materials and giving presentations.
The tools used are assumed to be Microsoft Office products (Excel for data compilation and graph creation, and PowerPoint for presentations). However, if you are able to operate them yourself, you can also create graphs and presentation materials using other tools.
*SAS staff will provide support regarding data analysis strategies and data compilation methods. Please note that they may not be able to provide support regarding the use of laptops or software.
You will give a presentation to everyone in the venue using the materials you have created. The presentation will be projected onto a monitor in the venue using an HDMI port, so please prepare a laptop or adapter with an HDMI port.
The presentation is expected to be approximately 2 minutes long.
• Internet access via Wi-Fi provided by SAS will be available at the venue.
